About the Founder
Meet the "Big Dog" behind Pawp Culture, Rick! Rick is the ultimate pop culture nerd and dog lover. In 2024, he saw an opportunity to bring his favorite pop culture properties to his dog, Starbuck. Combining his background in the pet industry with his love for the world of media & entertainment, Rick founded Pawp Culture to spark joy in pets and their parents everywhere.
About Starbuck
Starbuck is a rescue from the great state of Texas! She’s a regal Labrador Retriever and Great Dane mix, who enjoys soft surfaces and playing tug. People sometimes assume that Starbuck got her name from the coffee chain, but she was actually named after a character from Battlestar Galactica.
Prior to joining Pawp Culture, Starbuck was unemployed and freeloaded off of her doting father, Rick.
