My medium sized puppy loved both the chests and its contents. She carried the mimic around by its tongue and seemed very proud when she discovered she could pull plush dice out from inside it. The led to to a game of fetch where she bounded through the house returning the dice to next to the chest when thrown.

Unfortunately, during this half an hour introduction, at one point it took me a little bit longer to get the green die back and she had quickly chewed its corner open exposing the plush within. So we’re down one plush die already, with concerns around how soon the others will open up during light play. The mimic chest itself seems very well made and has shown no damage at all, so I’m guessing it will outlive its contents at least.

So a fun toy to be sure, but parts of it didn’t seem to hold up as long as I would have liked to see.
